Icy Ike by TickTix Icy Ike by TickTix
Ike is made from a Public Domain image of ice on a tree branch. He is one of my older pieces I've done my best to enlarge him, but he has suffered a bit in quality over the years... (sorry about that...) I used several techniques in Photoshop to create him. For his head I used another image of ice which I then stretched and tinkered with to get that certain look. His eye comes from a lizard -- it was a public domain closeup and it didn't name the species. He reminds me of a seahorse.

Very cool honey and it does look like a seahorse or a sea serpent.

The original image was a frozen tree. I saw this one branch and it reminded me of a long neck to... something. So I cut it out and mucked around with it. Then I used another image of a frozen branches to create the head. By the time I was working on the head I realized it had to be a seahorse kinda critter. It was suiting. Thank you for commenting baby!!!
